Sitting atop a mountain along the Appalachian Trail, with one Kundalini class was where it all began. Spending two years of exploring different variations of yoga, something deeper was pulling at me; after many hours of searching I found the path of Sivananda.

On a whim, I hopped on a plane to live in my tent for a month on an ashram in Grass Valley, CA. Becoming familiar with this original form of Hatha Yoga, I studied meditation, ayurveda, proper diet, the asanas (postures) and most importantly proper relaxation. As the month immersion came to an end I was granted the title of Yoga Siromani (Yoga Teacher) and accredited by the Yoga Alliance with a 200/hr registration.

After returning to New Jersey, my passion ignited beyond my wildest imagination. I've taught several free yoga series, enjoyed sharing the practice with intercity girls, teaching children of various ages, been a living mannequin and instructor for Lululemon, was the personal yoga instructor of the NY/NJ Trail Conference, and have even become a brand ambassador for Breakin' A Sweat (Yoga Wheel) and Brofit Wear USA.

As of recent, I have just received my Ayurvedic Educator certificate and am an Ayurvedic Massage Body Therapist. After years of nutritional study (both in school and solo) and sometime as a Phlebotomist, Ayurveda just seemed to make sense. In this science, we look to treat the root cause of an illness, rather than the superficial symptom. Thus, the end result is a true state of health and well-being.

Having relocated to Sacramento, the plan is to continue this pursuit of Yogic and Ayurvedic knowledge through the California College of Ayurveda.

The intention is to pass along the knowledge, love and gifts of Yoga I was so generously given. Despite a young age, there is a wealth of knowledge I'm excited to share.
